Join us for a 540 Volleyball Academy Open Gym! Players will have the opportunity to get in the gym, play, compete and connect with other athletes in a fun and competitive environment.
These sessions are also a great opportunity for athletes and families to meet our 540 NoVA coaches and directors, get to know our staff and learn more about the club ahead of the upcoming season.

Age Specific Skills Clinic Series

Age Specific Skills Series is designed for experienced volleyball players looking to continue developing their individual skills in a fast-paced and competitive training environment. Each session will focus on technical skill development, ball control, movement patterns, positional training, communication, and volleyball IQ through high-repetition drills and game-speed situations.

Fall High School Academy and League

September 7 – October 22, 2026
 
The 540 Volleyball Academy NoVA Fall High School Academy & League gives high school athletes an additional opportunity to stay in the gym, get quality repetitions and continue refining their game throughout the fall.
 
Training will be led by the 540 Volleyball Academy coaching staff with sessions designed around the technical and competitive needs of high school players. Athletes will continue developing their passing, serving, setting, attacking, blocking and defensive skills while also working through positional training, decision-making and different game situations.
Competitive drills and play will be incorporated throughout the program to give athletes opportunities to apply their skills against other players and continue developing their feel for the game.
 
Our focus is on creating a quality training environment where athletes can get a high volume of meaningful repetitions, receive coaching and feedback and continue improving throughout the fall.

Fall Middle School Academy and League

September 7 – October 22, 2026
 

The 540 Volleyball Academy NoVA Fall Middle School Academy & League provides middle school athletes with a consistent opportunity to train, develop and play throughout the fall.

Over the course of the program, athletes will work with the 540 Volleyball Academy coaching staff to continue building and refining their volleyball skills. Sessions will cover all areas of the game including passing, serving, setting, attacking, blocking and defense while also incorporating movement, decision-making and game concepts.
 
As athletes progress, training will increasingly incorporate competitive drills and game-like situations that allow them to apply what they are learning. Our goal is to give every athlete plenty of touches, quality repetitions and opportunities to play while creating an environment that challenges them at their current level.
 
The program is open to middle school athletes with varying levels of experience. Whether an athlete is continuing to build their fundamentals or looking for additional training and competition before club season, our coaches will work to help each athlete continue progressing their game.
